Privacy Policy
Information about the processing of personal data on this website pursuant to Art. 13 and 14 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
In short: this website sets no cookies, embeds no external services and uses no tracking or analytics tools. Fonts are served from our own server. Personal data only arises if you send us the contact form or write to us — and in the technical server logs. The legally binding version of this policy is the German one at the German privacy policy.

A data protection officer does not have to be appointed under § 38 of the German Federal Data Protection Act. For any data protection questions, please contact the address above.
2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Berlin, Germany. The provider processes the data arising when the website is accessed on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located in Germany; no transfer to third countries takes place.
When the website is accessed, the following data is automatically stored in a log file:
- shortened or full IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- volume of data transferred and access status message
- browser and operating system used
- previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted
Purpose and legal basis: this processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security and fend off attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in a secure and functioning web presence. This data is not merged with other data sources. Log data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless it is exceptionally required for longer in order to investigate a specific security incident.
3. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. Neither technically necessary nor analytical or advertising cookies are used. A consent banner is therefore not required.
4. No analytics, tracking or advertising services
We use no web analytics, no Google Analytics, no reach measurement, no advertising or retargeting pixels and no social media plugins. Your behaviour on this website is not evaluated and no profiles are created.
5. Fonts and map
Fonts: the typeface used (Geist) is stored locally on our server and loaded from there. There is no connection to servers operated by Google or any other provider; your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
Origin map: the world map in the “Origin” section is a static graphic based on public-domain geodata (Natural Earth) and embedded directly in the page. No external map service is loaded and no connection to third parties is established.
External address link: in the contact section we link our address to OpenStreetMap. The link leads to an external website; data is only transmitted if you actively click the link. There is no automatic embedding.
6. Contact form
If you send us an enquiry using the form on this website, we process the following details:
- Required: name, email address, your message and your confirmation of this privacy policy
- Optional: company, telephone number
- Technical: IP address and time of submission — solely in order to fend off automated bulk messages (spam)
Purpose and legal basis: we process this data in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare a quotation. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and, as far as plain communication and spam protection are concerned, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working, abuse-free contact channel).
The details are sent by email to our mailbox. They are not stored in a database on the web server.
Retention: we keep your enquiry until it has been dealt with conclusively and delete it afterwards — unless statutory retention obligations apply (in particular commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years under § 257 HGB and § 147 AO) or the data is still needed to perform a contract. You may object to storage at any time.
7. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details solely in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The retention periods set out in section 6 apply.
8. Recipients of the data
Your data is only passed on to third parties where this is necessary to fulfil your enquiry or a contract (for example to the producing plant or a forwarding agent if you place a delivery order), where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have consented. The hosting provider named above is engaged as a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR.
Your data is never sold or otherwise made available for advertising purposes.
9. Transfers to third countries
No personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Union for the operation of this website. Should we need to transfer data to suppliers outside the EU in the course of a specific business relationship, we will inform you separately and base the transfer on the requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
10. Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data held by JF Just Foods GmbH:
- Access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure, unless retention obligations prevent it (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An informal message to admin@justfoods.info is sufficient.
Right to object under Art. 21 GDPR
Where we process data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for us is:
Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
